The property claimed to have free WiFi throughout, but I couldn't even get a signal in the garden. Guess I'll have to enjoy the view instead.
Oh, the joy of having to pay for WiFi that doesn't work. How delightful.

The location was perfect, within walking distance of the racecourse and just a short drive from the amazing zoo. The cottage itself was beautifully furnished and had all the amenities we could possibly need. The highlight was definitely the terrace, overlooking the canal and city walls. It was the perfect spot for morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. The welcome pack of prosecco, local cheese, and biscuits was a lovely touch. We couldn't have asked for a better family getaway.
My kids wished there was a small playground nearby for them to enjoy.

The bathroom in Tower View Cottage was amazing! It had a choice of two bathrooms, one with a bath or shower and another with just a shower. As a solo traveler, having options for my morning routine was a game-changer. It made me feel like I had my own little spa retreat.
Personally, I didn't like the fact that there was only one bathroom with a bath or shower. I prefer having multiple options to choose from.

The rooms were nicely decorated and well-equipped with everything we needed, including a lovely patio with a great view. The welcome pack of prosecco, local cheese, and biscuits was a lovely touch. The owner was also great with communication, making our stay even more enjoyable.
I recommend this hotel.

The property had free WiFi, which was not too shabby. The view was alright too, I mean, I could see stuff. Oh, and there was a washing machine! How thrilling. Cons: Such a shame there wasn't a personal butler at my beck and call. Eyeball rolling moment.

We loved the patio and the great view from the back. It was so convenient that the cottage provided everything we needed, from tea and coffee to soap and ironing board. It was super close to Chester Racecourse and we even walked to Chester Zoo, which was a bit of a mission but totally worth it. The rooms were wicked cool, with awesome furnishings. The patio had the sickest views and we chilled there all day. They had everything we needed and even left us some dope treats like Prosecco and cheese. The communication with the owner was on point. Couldn't have asked for a better pad for our vacation!
If there was one thing we wish was better, it would have been more late-night party spots nearby. We were craving a proper wild night out and had to travel a bit for it.
